Industry 4.0 & 5.0

The activity of the research group regarding Industry 4.0 covers the areas of digital twins, human aspects, regional development potentials of I4.0, indoor positioning systems, Internet of Things (IoT), Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Operator 4.0 & 5.0 , production management and retrofit for brownfield systems

The primary focus of the group is on rethinking and upgrading systems engineering and data science in the context of the fourth and fifth industrial revolutions. Our research is also at the forefront of Operator 4.0, aiming to integrate operators into flexible and multi-purpose manufacturing processes. This integration supports the design of future workplaces based on the concept of intelligent space, enhancing efficiency and adaptability in manufacturing environments.
